3) About nature.
Nature is the perfect system, but it is an illusion to believe that nature is kind. Nature is never kind, but nature is never, but never calculatedly cruel.
Nature is the perfect system in that it controls it self. The lion controls the number of deer, the deer controls the growth of vegetation, the elephant controls the spread of the bush and micro-organisms sees to it that every thing is returned to Earth. The same perfect system prevails in the air and in the waters of the Earth.
It is only when the elephant starts to feel sorry for the trees and the crocodile feels guilty about killing the innocent gazelle, that the system starts to crumble. It is when the lion starts to beg forgiveness for killing a zebra calf to feed itself and its young, that the herbivores will start to demand that the carnivores stop the slaughter, repent the sin of killing and start to eat grass.
When this happens, the perfect equilibrium of nature is destroyed. The herbivore population explodes, competition for food turns the grassland into desert, hunger and stress and sickness will sweep the land, littering the veldt with the rotting bodies of the dead.
Likewise in society, when the rich start to feel guilty about their affluence and the powerful start to feel ashamed about their ability to yield their might in the accomplishment of projects that are highly profitable to them self and to society. It is then that the poor will demand a share in the profits of the rich, and the weak will start to demand that the powerful abstain from giving them orders.
And the more advanced souls will start to talk about democracy and they will stop to rule the people by force because they believe in the power of reason and they believe that all people are civilised and thus capable of reason. But the less civilised, uneducated people will see this as weakness because the only law that they know, and the only reason they understand is the power of violence. To them, arguments can only be settled by force, and violence can get you what you want. And so they will use the freedom given them by those well meaning democrats to destroy that democracy by brutal force.
It is then that society will start to crumble, when progress will come to a standstill, when civilisation will begin its backslide into chaos and darkness.
Nature is Gods perfect self-sustaining system, the perfect environment into which man was created to fulfil its mission; to suffer, to enjoy, to laugh and to cry, to kill and to be killed, to fulfil Gods need to be.
4) About man:
Man, is an ass. Man is a bloated, self-righteous, pompous ass. As long as man thinks of himself as the centre of the universe, as the sole reason for creation, indeed as the pen-ultimate creature of creation, so long will he be deluded, will he suffer under the influence of his ignorance.
It is a strange thing that man can, despite his scientific progress and intellectual power, still be under the impression that he is the most intelligent creature in the universe and that every thing was created for the sole purpose of his enjoyment.
Despite his scientific knowledge about other solar systems, other galaxies and the possibility of parallel universes, he still believes deep down, that he is the sole reason why every other planet, every other star, every other solar system was ever created. He is, to his own mind, the most important, the most advanced creature in all creation and that nothing better will ever come along. God can not ever improve on man.
It is so sad.
The dinosaurs once had the same idea, and they were right. They were the mightiest creatures on Earth for millions of years. But they were a dead end, they were not going anywhere. God had his fun while they lasted but He got bored of experiencing the same old hunger, feeding, copulating, fighting, killing, senseless existence year after year after year for millions of years without end. So He killed them.
And He set evolution on a more interesting course, on a course to more violence and more brutality, more hatred and senseless killing than even God could imagine, the course towards the appearance of man on Earth. A time of unparalleled excitement for God.
It was man that transformed the face of the earth, killing off millions of animals and other living creatures, first to survive, and then for the fun of it, for the hell of it. Man cultivated the land, burned and slashed forests, turned grassland into dessert, and in the mean time, turned onto one another in their greed and hatred.
Rivers were turned into murky, poisonous sewers and the atmosphere into a dense, suffocating smog. Man tamed Gods Paradise …. and turned it into hell.
But man is a mover, never a dull moment when that splendid creation of God is around. With the Earth on the verge of being blown out of existence with nuclear devices, they are now tuning to the sky, to the distant planets and stars. God is having a good time, lots of excitement, of living on the edge, of burning the godly candle on both ends.
Man has forgotten that he is a tool in the hands of God. Man is a means of getting what He wants, of going where He is aiming at, a stepping stone on the way to some destination. Man is not, was never ever intended as a final destination, a grand final product of God’s imagination. To think that, is to belittle the mighty God. It is to think that God can do no better, that maybe in man, God met His match.
How small do you think He is? How limited!
But ohhh, man is great. Man is a prime specimen, a wonderful creation, a beautiful tool in the scheme of things. He is so much more than the plants and the insects and the animals. HE CAN THINK! HE CAN CREATE! HE CAN DESTROY! HE CAN LOVE! HE CAN HATE!
Through man God can experience all the emotions that an intelligent being is capable of. Through man He can laugh, He can cry, He can feel frustration, He can experience jubilation. With man He can fly to the moon, with man He can go to war and die a million horrible deaths on the battlefield.
With man He can enjoy the myriad pleasures of the flesh in all its shades, tastes and nuances. The gentle touch of a lover, the joy of cool raindrops on the skin, the gentle caress of the sun and the wind. The tender hug of a child. The calculated rape and murder of a young girl. So much more enjoyable than the senseless life of an animal driven by instinct alone.
Yes indeed, man is a jewel on the evolutionary road, a semi- precious stone, not yet the diamond God is capable of.
And yes, God loves you, but not for the reason you think.
Stom geslaan ?
Ek dink ‘n groot probleem lê daarin dat die mensdom hulle eie beperkings en limiete op hulle god projekteer, tot so ‘n mate dat dit gestel kan word dat sodanige god deur die mens geskep word.
